Marie Ursin

Marie Ursin works with dance, choreography, curation and organization that are always based on collaborative processes and hybrid formats. She is interested in the embodied logic of the performer and likes to make oversized projects that take on a character and drive of their own.

Together with her longstanding collaborator Alexandra Tveit she is the artistic director of Scene:Bluss; an artist-run residency platform that creates interdisciplinary, experimental and collective projects. They also make choreographies together, like the 2022 installation performance born slippy, where they explored cinematic references in a somatic mix of body horror, soundscapes and uncomfortable and ecstatic proximities.

She is a part of the artistic team behind the performance FIEBRE that won the Young Choreographers' Award at ImPulsTanz in 2021, as well as working as a performer for choreographers across Europe. She holds a BA in dance and performance from Stockholm University of the Arts.

To close Mind Eater 2025, we have invited Marie Ursin to host a film screening on Sunday August 10, so bring your snacks, pillows, and pj’s to PODIUM and chill for a couple of hours.

The screening is free and requires no booking. Marie’s choice of film will be announced soon!
