MIND EATER is an Oslo-based, artist-run, non-institutional festival primarily dedicated to emerging artists, critical thinkers and performative practices. The second edition will take place from August 8–10, 2025, at UKS – Young Artists' Society and PODIUM.
The festival features a two-part program: A public performance program consisting of interdisciplinary artists working across performative formats, and a discursive program including lectures, workshops, and screenings by theorists, critics, and artists.
With MIND EATER, we aim to present works that explore frictions, deviant imaginaries, and desire, while critically engaging with our contemporary cultural conditions. Queer in nature and grounded in embodied practices, MIND EATER seeks to become a steamy meeting point for artistic inquiry, un-worlding, and critical reflection.

ABOUT
VENUE / ACCESSIBILITY
MIND EATER 2025 will take place at UKS—YOUNG ARTISTS’ SOCIETY and PODIUM Oslo. Scroll down for more info.
UKS is accessible by wheelchair. The venues front entrance is one step above street level. The venue has a movable ramp which we can easily install. The front door is 180 cm wide. The exhibition/performance space at UKS has multiple levels which are accessible by stairs and elevator.
WHEELCHAIR ACESS
UKS has one disabled bathroom with grab bars. The toilet is located on the lower level of the exhibition space and is accessible by elevator. The room measures approximately 3 x 2.5 metres.
UKS also have three single-stall, gender-neutral bathrooms with sit-down toilets on the first floor of the building. The largest bathroom measures approximately 2 x 1.5 metres and two are smaller, approximately 1 x 1.5 metres.
TOILETS
Tactile ground surface indicators are unfortunately not available at UKS, but we are happy to help if you require assistance navigating the space during any MIND EATER events.
